Feeling loved and cherished through gentle touch is very important to our growing little ones! The importance of touch in the growth and development of your child has been noted in many studies.
Babies sure enjoy those lovely moments when you give them a soft massage. These tender touches help keep their skin smooth and happy while also helping nurture bonding time.
We recommend that you make sure your baby's room is warm enough so they can relax without clothes on for a bit. Rubbing a small amount of oil onto your hand first, to bring it up to body temperature. Then gently rub the oil over your baby’s arms, legs, and back to give them that special care.
If you notice your baby has an upset tummy, you can try massaging their belly in small, clockwise circles. But only if they have no just eaten.
Always check the room for the right temperature so your baby is comfortable during this time.
A few tips:
- This product is for babies older then six months, use only cold-pressed oils on babies younger than 6 months as their skin is too sensitive for the concentration of the essential oils.
- Be extra careful if you're using the oil as a bath product because it can make skin slippery so it's might be unsafe while trying to hold the child.
- Before applying, do a small patch test on a different part of their skin to check for any chance of irritation.
