Camphor
Camphor is waxy, and colorless. It has a strong aroma.
Found in the wood of various trees in the laurel family. It has many uses in medicine, perfumery, and industry.
Relieves itching, pain, applied on the chest or throat to relieve coughs and congestion, or added to steam inhalations to relieve cough.
It is an odd ingredient (counterirritation) as it works by irritating the nerves that cause you to feel pain, and itching, which causes the nerves to get 'tired' so they stop reporting the pain, coughs or itching as much, Interesting!
